Probably related to MECHANIC [2]. Data here from 544 set with Clock & small fairground models on lid. Special parts including 7 holes Trunnion, 11 holes Curved Strip(s), 15 holes Disc. aluminium 240 set also known.

2 sets on Ebay have lids with model & yellow starburst. One model looks like METAAL CONSTRUCTIE SET (MLE). Its lid talks of Clockwork Motor but Elec shown, as in MLE. Has 'Chinese' parts but probably 12.3 pitch, & some specials.
